WOODHOUSE A metal stake that was intentionally placed in a farmers field caused $10,000 in damage to a John Deere combine when the farmer ran over it during soybean harvest in early December. The OPP are now involved, saying the metal stake was big enough that someone must have hammered it into the ground in the soybean field at Woodhouse, in Norfolk County. OPP Const. Ed Sanchuk said the farmer might not have been directly targeted and that the stake could have acted as some kind of marker.
