LINWOOD — A two-year-old Mennonite boy died after an accident on the farm last month.
Two-year-old Joel Sittler died on his family’s farm on Ament Line, east of Linwood, northwest of Kitchener, according to an online obituary.
Waterloo Regional Police were called to the farm on the morning of Jan. 20. Insp. Mike Haffner told CTV News Kitchener that police would be at the farm well into the night for their investigation into the “circumstances of the death.”
Calls to Waterloo Regional Police by Farmers Forum were not returned.
Sittler is survived by his parents Noah and Irene, and his brother Jordan.
