BRANTFORD — Police are investigating suspicious fires at a popular agri-tourism spot in Brant County.
The blazes broke out at Colton’s Fun Farm, a pumpkin farm and agri-tourism destination on Jerseyville Road northeast of Brantford on June 5. The barn and the attractions burned to the ground and four goats died, owner Lyndsay Gallant told CTV Kitchener.
The fires are considered suspicious because there appear to be two ignition points: One in the barn, and another in a vehicle on the property, said Brant County Fire Prevention Officer Tom Walschmidt. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s office is investigating.
