OTTAWA — On behalf of the Directors of the Ottawa Valley Seed Growers Association, I invite everyone to visit the 2023 Ottawa Valley Farm Show.
We are all are very excited to welcome you back in-person. After a three-year absence we have missed you!
OVSGA directors, volunteers and staff have been working hard to present you with the quality of show you are accustomed to seeing. Look for our regular features of halls full of commercial exhibits, plus the antique and quilt displays in “Memory Lane.” We are proud to showcase the Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame inductees from Eastern Ontario and present the daily “10 a.m. Talks.”
This year, we have added an array of dining opportunities which we hope you will enjoy, from the hot meal in the dining hall to the grilled cheese, ice cream and beverage options as you wander the halls. There will also be the usual canteens and food truck options, plus more places to sit, visit and do business with suppliers and fellow producers.

Thank you to the exhibitors, partners and sponsors who continue to support the farm show and all our other initiatives. Thanks to your support, farm show exhibit spaces are full, the auction has an exciting array of items up for bid, and our seed show awards, youth scholarships, seed research support and agricultural community projects will continue.
Join us for the 31st Annual Prestigious Pedigreed Seed Auction with proceeds to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario at the heart of the show, the Court of Honour on Thursday at 1 p.m. We invite you to bid on the donated items to help raise support for the CHEO children in need.
Visit the display of seed, feed and forage winning exhibits. Judging takes place on March 11 and items then come to the farm show for your enjoyment. We look forward to presenting the awards to the 2023 winners after the show on March 25.
To our dedicated board of directors, committee members, volunteers and staff, thank you for your ongoing commitment to the OVSGA. You continue to foster new and creative ideas for our organization. Our 96 years of success is truly a team effort.
