OPINION: Want to destroy your country? It’s easy with immigration
If I wanted to destroy Canada I would embrace the Liberal government agenda.
The federal government created a massive housing shortage so severe that most young people will never own a house. The federal government achieved it by flying in hundreds of thousands of immigrants — almost
1 million so far this year — into the country and handing each adult $40,000. Our government’s goal is at least 500,000 new immigrants every year based on no demonstrable advantage to anyone.
Thousands of immigrants have been put in hotels for years and we’re paying for it at the cost of $4,000 to $6,000 per month per individual or family.
We know that many countries have emptied their jails and sent their residents to the West. Our federal government welcomes them. Not surprisingly, Canada’s immigration department is filled with frontline workers suffering from depression. It coincided with being told to approve every newcomer, even those red-flagged for their criminal record.
Now our federal government has proposed expensive, imaginary global warming-prevention retro-fits if you want a sell a house. If passed, the federal government will have guaranteed two more things: infuriating home owners and pushing housing prices even higher to cover the retrofits.
Young and white Canadians are treated especially badly. Until it was expunged from a government website, Canadian businesses were being offered subsidies to hire visible minorities.
Check out the city Walmarts and Tim Hortons. An Ottawa teen applied for a job at a Tim Hortons’s and was asked if she spoke Punjabi. Why? She would need Punjabi to speak to the other employees.
Not only are our federal and provincial governments and large service businesses discriminating against young, white kids, our governments blame those kids for being recipients of white supremacy. So, we discriminate against them, then call them names.
Meantime, we’re not exactly inviting the best and the brightest into the country. Take a drive into a Canadian city and look around. Canada now has a people-shitting-on-the-street problem, garbage-all-over-park problem, international vehicle theft rings, foreign-operating drug-producing Canadian-killing operations inside our borders and a growing service industry that speaks neither English or French.
Open-wide your borders and you turn your country into something else. That is why Alberta, if given the chance, will vote to leave as quickly as possible.
As for the outrageous amount of money we give to immigrants, we could help them and even more in their own country. Rather than bringing street defecators and convicted criminals here, while crushing our economy and social supports, we could make a real difference in the lives of 40 times as many people in their own country, where they can be with their own people and customs and language.
But the federal government would rather make everything worse for everyone.
We now have cities overwhelmed with self-imposed ghettos of non-Canadians who do business in their own language with their own ethnic group. We have a multi-cultural disaster in which we have parallel societies and they all have a tremendous advantage over Canadians who grew up here. The newcomers get more than free money. They get a lenient legal system and a second passport. So if the freebies stop flowing, they can go back home and leave the rest of us behind holding the debt bag.
Our governments don’t care because solutions are not difficult to find. Just stop it, already. Return to controlled immigration. Stop immigration until young Canadians can afford a house and find a job. Revoke all passports issued after Trudeau opened the flood gates. It takes two generations for immigrants to become loyal to their adopted country. Meantime, they shouldn’t be allowed to vote because it rewards a dirty self-centred sinister strategy of purchasing a voter base through taxpayer-funded immigration and subsequent generous programs. I came up with these solutions in under five minutes. It’s not difficult.
We also have to get away from the ridiculous idea that racism means disagreeing with a government-approved idea. Canada will not be able to solve an immigration crisis and end this march to the edge of a cliff if we can’t talk about it.
Back off: the foreign worker program works
Somehow the foreign worker program got mixed into Canada’s immigration disgrace.
Canada has a great foreign worker program called the Seasonal Agricultural Worker Program. There are about 80,000 foreign farm workers in Canada and about 33,715 temporary foreign workers are in Ontario on dairy farms, greenhouses and fruit and vegetable farms.
Many of these workers return home each year — to Mexico, Jamaica or Guatemala — with impressive purchasing power thanks to the strength of the Canadian dollar. Many have jobs in their own countries, as well as families, houses and enough money to educate their children and send them to universities. They have good lives.
There is, however, increasing pressure in the United States and Canada to provide “amnesty” to foreign agricultural workers under the impression that they are oppressed. As the for the case in Canada, these workers are paid well and are provided free health care, free lodging and a free flight to Canada and back home. More importantly, these temporary foreign workers choose freely to work in Canada and have been doing so for decades. The program works. Canada’s immigration policy doesn’t.
