WINCHESTER — A popular tractor parade is set for this Sunday afternoon, Aug. 8, in this Eastern Ontario community.
The procession normally coincides with Winchester’s annual Dairyfest festivities, an event otherwise cancelled this year like so many others.
Organizer “Farmer John” Cinnamon recently announced the return of the tractor parade on Facebook.
Offering the details, Cinnamon wrote:
“The 17th Annual Farmer John and Gramma Linda tractor parade will take place (weather permitting) on Sunday August 8, 2021. Parade will start at our Big Blue Shed at 1:15p.m. Friends may join in when we go by Country Kitchen Restaurant (approx. 1:30). Also Winchester Arena at 1:45. Our goal is to be visiting Dundas Manor at 2 p.m. The parade will then continue touring around Winchester, past the Fire Hall and then Lions Hall proceeding west on Main Street finishing at Winchester Arena, where each driver can proceed home at their leisure. Thank You in advance. Hope to see you there.”
