Three amigos from Mexico

Fresh off the plane from Ottawa International airport, Gaspar, Enrique and Pedro arrive ready to work at Salt of the Earth Farm, near Lyndhurst, north of Brockville on May 20. The farm is operated by Charles Summers, a Farmers Forum columnist. These men are amongst more than 30,000 Central American and Caribbean workers who will help nurture and harvest Ontario’s fruit and vegetable crops this season.
