ANCASTER — For the fifth year in a row, a cow co-owned by Quality Holsteins at Vaughan, Ont. was crowned Holstein grand champion at the Spring Discovery Show.
Florbil Doorman Lilly — bred by Florbil Farms Ltd at Mildmay, Ont. and owned by Florbil Farms Ltd., Quality Holsteins, Beckridge Holsteins at Keswick, Ont., Oscar Dupasquier at Guelph, Ont. and Agriber Societa Agricola SRL of Piacenza, Italy — was tapped as the grand champion at the April 25-26 show at Ancaster.
The five titles have come from four different cows. In 2014, Quality Goldwyn Flinso was named grand champion, in 2015, it was Bosdale Gold Luster and in 2016 and 2017, it was Keylas Sid Roxanna.

Junior champion: Ronbeth Solomon Sunset, bred by Ronbeth Holsteins at Hastings, Ont., and owned by Ronbeth Holsteins, Grand Slam Holsteins at Woodstock, Ont. and Showstyle Genetics at Mildmay, Ont.
Reserve: Claircrest Atwood Allure, bred and owned by Clair E. Petherick at Campbellford, Ont.
Jersey:
Junior champion: L’ormiere Tequila Roxe, bred by Christine Desrosiers, Julien Et C A Sicard at St. Justine, Que., and owned by Clark Valley Holsteins at Woodville, Ont.
Reserve: Jaspar Valentno Evergreene, bred by Jim and Tammy Sparling at Varna, Ont., owned by Dakoka Doyle, Emerhill Jerseys and Holsteins at Norwood, Ont. and Val-O-Skene at Little Britain, Ont.
