HURON EAST — Huron County OPP are investigating a death occurring April 29 on a farm south of the small town of Ethel.
Officers and local firefighters and paramedics responded just after 11:30 a.m. to the Cranbrook Road location where first responders found an unresponsive victim without vital signs.
The individual was later pronounced deceased at the scene. A post-mortem examination was scheduled for the following day.
Officers with the West Region OPP Traffic Incident Management & Enforcement (TIME) Team and the Huron OPP Crime Unit also attended the scene to assist with the investigation.
The cause of the death is part of an ongoing investigation, and no identifying details about the deceased have been released.
“There is no threat to public safety,” the detachment says.
