NORTHUMBERLAND The OPP have removed more than 400 marijuana plants, which had a street value at about $400,000, from two farmers cornfields in Northumberland County. On Oct. 29, the OPP removed 300 plants from a Thomas Road property in Alnwick-Haldimand Township, about an hour west of Belleville. On that same day, they found and removed 104 plants from a Morton Road farm in Hamilton Township, located 30 minutes east of Alnwick-Haldimand Township. No one has been arrested.
