LINDSAY — A Waterloo region Jersey farm was one of the big winners at the Ontario Summer Jersey Show on July 26 at Lindsay in East-Central Ontario.
Pleasant Nook Jerseys, owned by Rob and Julie Eby at Ayr, Ont. bred and owned the reserve and honourable mention grand champions, and also took home top-place awards for premier breeder, premier exhibitor and breeders herd.
The farm is an annual winner at shows, taking home five awards at last year’s Royal Agricultural Winter Fair and was named premier Jersey breeder at the World Dairy Expo the last two years.
