WEST PERTH — Police are looking for witnesses after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle that never stopped in the Municipality of West Perth.
The passenger side mirror of an unidentified white Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) struck the person April 9 near Staffa. The pedestrian received minor injuries as a result of the incident occurring just after 7:30 p.m. The driver of the SUV failed to remain at the scene — never stopping stop or rendering assistance — and continued westbound on Perth Line 24.
The Perth County OPP is seeking any witnesses, or anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time with dash camera footage. The make and model of the suspect vehicle are unknown.
