The Ontario Ag Hall of Fame is still taking nominations for next year, but time is running out.
The hall annually welcomes leaders who have made a significant and lasting contribution to Ontario agriculture. Last year, Pickseed founder, Marie Pick, joined four other inductees in the hall of fame. This year’s inductees included former Kemptville College principal John Curtis.
The association cancelled its induction ceremony this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and plans to honour 2020’s inductees alongside the 2021 group at next year’s ceremony. There are 233 hall of farmers.
The deadline to submit a nominee for next year is Oct. 31. Visit the association’s website for more information.
