GUELPH — The Ontario Federation of Agriculture is building a new office at Guelph, the organization said last month.
It will be at least six months before the new site is up and running in the industrial park in southwest Guelph, west of the Hanlon Expressway.
It will cost more than $1 million to build but mortgage payments would be equivalent to current rental payments at 100 Stone Rd. near the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs office. At about 8,000 sq. ft., the new two-storey building will be almost double the size of the current office and could have one or two tenants.
The building is expected to be completed by July, 2020.
