NORTH PERTH — One person was injured after a motorist drove through a cloud of dust and into the rear end of a farm tractor on Perth Line 86 in the Municipality of North Perth. The driver that hit the tractor was charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
As a result of the May 6 crash, Perth County OPP are reminding the motorized public that farm tractors have a right to be on the roadway, and that drivers are responsible for ensuring that they can see if the roadway is clear before proceeding.
Officers responded to the collision around 1:20 p.m. The injured person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Wroxeter resident Ryan Devereaux, 33, was charged with careless driving, according to Perth County OPP.
