ONTARIO — The pre-Christmas blizzard that ravaged travel plans across Ontario also prevented the timely collection of milk at some Ontario dairy farms, forcing some affected operators to waste their main product. More than one dairy farmer took to social media to report dumping milk down the drain because milk trucks couldn’t travel the roads. Producers are not compensated for such losses, and in one video, the affected farmer rubs his fingers together to signify the loss of money down the drain as milk flows out of his cooler.
We had to dump milk to – don’t remember ever having to do this #ontariostorm https://t.co/QpnQk1MbNc

@jackson_d1515 It’s a sad state off affairs when the roads are closed and milk trucks can’t come collect. The cows still have to get milked #DairyFarmersofOntario #ontariodairy #ontario #snowstorm #roadsclosed #milk #trending #fypage #fyp ♬ оригинальный звук – zotov
