GUELPH — Crystal Mackay is stepping down as president of the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity to open her own agricultural communications company.
Mackay, who was the Renfrew dairy princess in 1988, will stay on with the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity until the end of April. She plans to take a break to spend some time with her family before launching her new business that will help connect farmers to consumers.
Mackay was the head of Farm & Food Ontario before heading Farm & Food Care Canada, which became the CCFI a few years ago.
