CASSELMAN — Local farmers were very vocal at a July 23 Casselman tractor roll and protest against Dutch farm policies. Farmers Forum asked them, “Are you concerned that Dutch-style ag policies — including drastic cuts to nitrogen fertilizer use — are coming to Canada?”
You bet they are.
“It’s coming. When the government has announced it … it’s coming, whether you want to believe it or not. I’m a dead believer that, very, very similar to what they’re trying to push through in Holland, is coming here. Very, very similar rules and regulations. They call this the 2030 emission goal, but it goes with Agenda 2030 put out by the World Economic Forum.”

“That stuff is coming. This is a known fact. I believe so. Because Trudeau works with the World Economic Forum agenda … They’re telling us in black and white that’s going to happen… They yo-yo people around.”

“I am organic but I am concerned, big time, especially with this government.”

“It’s going to come here … but they have to try to stop it. It’s really bad… A friend of mine, he has an uncle over there, milking 350 cows and supporting two families… and they have to go down by 65% (in herd size). That’s not even enough to support one family anymore.”

“Definitely, I am (concerned). It’s going to come — the way Trudeau socializes with (Dutch prime minister) Rutte. It’s kind of scary, at the WEF, they tell you exactly what they’re doing, and ‘bang,’ six months later it’s happening. But nobody believes you. If you talk to somebody about that, you’re ‘pushing conspiracies’.”
