GUELPH — See how individual farms milk thousands of cows with the latest technology in California.
A dozen agriculture- and dairy-industry stops are scheduled during an extensive tour of the Golden State being organized this February by the Guelph-based Progressive Dairy Operators organization.
Highlights include visits to a 32-robot Jersey farm and the World Ag Expo Farm Show.
Fifty-five spots are available on the Feb. 13-18 trip. The tour also runs an extra two days (through Feb. 20) for those interested.
The Progressive Dairy Operators is a voluntary membership group open to Canadian dairy farmers.
