It’s Canada’s Agriculture Day.
Feb. 15 has had that distinction since 2017 when Farm Credit Canada launched the awareness-raising initiative to celebrate the agricultural sector. In 2021, Canada’s Agriculture Day was turned over to the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity — a charitable organization representing many aspects of the food system, from farmers and food processors to retailers and restaurant operators.
Canada’s Agriculture Day is promoted through an ongoing social media effort — dubbed ‘Agriculture More Than Ever’ — with 96,000 followers across multiple platforms. Get the word out about agriculture today by posting with the hashtag #CdnAgDay
