Forecast: Slightly warmer spring

EASTERN ONTARIO — Eastern Ontario’s spring forecast points to temperatures trending slightly above average with potentially more rain as well.

That’s according to Steven Flisfeder, Environment and Climate Change Canada meteorologist.

Flisfeder warns that precipitation is notoriously more difficult to predict, though the numbers suggest an equal chance or better of above-average rainfall this spring. But that suggestion “needs to be taken with a bigger grain of salt,” he cautioned.
