GUELPH — Ontario farmers are again invited to participate in an annual farmland value and rental-rate survey conducted by the University of Guelph.
Since 2016, Dr. Brady Deaton has overseen the survey. The extensive annual results, complete with interactive maps, are released every March at the onfarmlandsurvey.com website.
The survey is open to all farmers in Ontario who own and/or rent farmland, and organizers say their participation is much appreciated.
Responses are kept anonymous and are only reported in aggregate form.
The survey takes only 10-15 minutes to complete and is accessible on the survey page here. There is no obligation to take the survey when visiting the survey page. Prospective participants may decide to take the survey in full or in part, or bow out entirely.
It’s funded by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs.
