GORRIE — Huron County OPP officers are investigating a recent break, enter and theft of farm-vehicle tires from a business near Gorrie.
The detachment responded July 19 to the Harriston Road address where thieves broke into an on-site storage trailer. The culprits gained entry by cutting the security lock, and once inside, stole several tires worth an estimated $4,000: 4 Galaxy Marathoner tires; 2 BKT Agrimax 480/70r34 tires; and one Mitas size 520/85R38 tire.
Police believe the theft took place sometime between July 14th and July 19th.
