Farm tractor driver charged after fatal collision

KINGSVILLE — A fatal collision at Kingsville between a car and a tractor left the car driver dead and the tractor driver facing charges.

On Oct. 25 on Road 7 East at Kingsville, the 37-year-old driver of the vehicle, Remi Rioux of Leamington, was killed when his car collided headfirst with a farm tractor coming from the other direction.

Last month, OPP charged 46-year-old Robert Boyd of Ruthven, just west of Leamington, with careless driving causing death. He was to appear in court at Windsor on March 16.
