THAMES CENTRE — A 65-year-old man died while operating a tractor to haul logs from his Thames Centre woodlot property, north of Thorndale. Police have described the Oct. 23 incident as a farm fatality.
Middlesex County OPP responded to the rural Oliver Drive site shortly before 1:40 p.m. The man was pronounced dead at the scene after “some sort of mishap that caused the tractor to roll,” OPP Const. Jeffrey Hare said by email.
Police have concluded their investigation and have not released the identity of the deceased.
