Essex worker killed at greenhouse operation

KINGSVILLE — A 59-year-old female farm worker was fatally struck by a vehicle at Sunsation Acres, an Essex County greenhouse operation, on March 17.

The woman died at the scene shortly after 5 p.m., according to the OPP, who characterized the situation as a “pedestrian who was struck by a motor vehicle,” not a tractor.
