TRENTON — TCO (Tri-County) Agromart, the crop input and service company with locations at Trenton and Napanee, is expanding, looking to buy land in Cramahe Township, just west of Trenton, and planning construction on a fertilizer-blending plant.
The company is buying 25 acres just north of Hwy 401. The site will host a fertilizer-blending plant, as well as a retail agricultural supply store, office space, and eventually storage warehouses.
Construction was expected to begin in the spring.
“We feel this new location will be an excellent opportunity to better serve our customers and give us the flexibility to push further west for future growth of the business,” said TCO president Larry Hutchinson in a news release from the township.
