CALEDONIA — A wayward motorist caused significant damage to a hayfield sometime overnight March 23-24, and police are looking for those responsible for the incident off River Road in Caledonia.
The resulting “deep ruts” were reported to police around 9:50 a.m. the following morning, March 24. Haldimand County OPP say their investigation continues into whether the incident was mischief or unintentional damage caused by a motor vehicle. Public help is sought “in hopes that someone may know who is responsible.”
OPP requests that the public immediately report incidents of mischief by calling 1-888-310-1122 and when observing damage occurring to public or private property.
