OTTAWA One of the more unique Ottawa Valley Farm Show attractions this year will be a sculptor who will use a chainsaw to carve an oversized corn cob, with the finished product to be auctioned during the prestigious pedigreed seed sale. While specific details are still up in the air such as the size of the corn cob and when sculptor Josh Dagg will start organizers say it should make for quite a sight. Canadian footballs biggest prize, the Grey Cup, will also make an appearance at the show. But it will be here for just one day. You can view the cup on Wednesday, March 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Kubota booth (#615). |
