Pork to beat beef production in U.S.
WASHINGTON U.S. pork production should pass beef production this year for the first time ever, says the United States Department of Agriculture. Pork production is expected to hit 23.908 billion pounds this year, narrowly edging out beefs expected 23.901 billion pounds. Chicken still tops them both, as its production is expected to be at an all-time high of 39.206 billion pounds. |
