ROCKWOOD — Bidding started Sept. 15 on a new all-terrain vehicle in support of 4-H Ontario.
The Ontario Federation of Agriculture has donated the 2021 Honda Foreman TRX520 — purchased from Kitchener Waterloo Honda — to 4-H Ontario’s online ‘Revving to Go’ auction that concludes 7 p.m. on Oct. 12. The featured machine has a retail price of $9,499.
Funds raised will go towards provincial 4-H programming.
The winning bidder will also receive gift cards for a safety package including items like a helmet and fluorescent jacket.
“OFA is proud to support 4-H Ontario, an organization that has played a key role in many future farmers’ lives. The motto of Head, Heart, Hands and Health is as relevant as ever in our rural communities,” said Peggy Brekveld, OFA President. “We encourage our members to support agriculture’s next generation of leaders by participating in the auction.”
