TORONTO — Be careful who you hire this year. Mercy for Animals’ Toronto-based animal rights office is hiring an undercover investigator.
The job is Canada-wide. The candidate needs to “obtain employment at factory farms and slaughterhouses in order to document conditions.”
The job posting warns that “investigators must be prepared to witness unimaginable cruelty and engage in intense manual labour while maintaining their composure.”
The investigator could target “factory farms, hatcheries, livestock markets, and slaughterhouses,” the job posting says.
