POWASSAN — An 80-year-old man driving a farm tractor died Jan. 7 in a collision with a train in Parry Sound District.
Local police, firefighers and paramedics responded around 9:40 a.m. to the scene at the village of Trout Creek. The tractor and train collided on Highway 522. Larry Ciglen, 80, a resident of the community, was killed.
The OPP Traffic Incident Management Enforcement Team is investigating the crash.
