TORONTO — There’s still time to nominate an outstanding Canadian to the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame Association. May 1 is the deadline for submissions to be considered for 2022 inductees.
Do you know a deserving individual who has made an important impact on Canadian agriculture?
Since 1960, the Association has been recognizing Canadians who have made notable, lifelong contributions to the agriculture and food industry. Inductees are chosen based on their career and volunteer contributions to the industry, as well as their leadership and vision that have made a difference to agriculture in Canada and even internationally.
Contenders must be nominated by an individual or corporate member of the CAHFA. (See nomination instructions at www.cahfa.com.) The 2022 CAHFA induction ceremony is scheduled Saturday, November 5, at the Liberty Grand in Toronto.
Those honoured will have their portraits added to the display in the Canadian Agricultural Hall of Fame Gallery at the Royal Agricultural Winter Fair.
